Banana peel-style composite video cables, featuring the company’s Brilliance 1855A and 1505A precision video cables, are designed to provide what the company says is optimum signal transmission performance over longer runs while enabling fast installation of multiple coax in a single easy-to-pull bundle. Since the outer jacket has been eliminated, all color-coded cables are instantly identifiable and feature clearly readable print legends. The cables also have a smaller outside diameter and an improved bend radius, making it possible to use a smaller size conduit. These composite cables are available in bundles of three, five, and six (1855A mini RG-59/U Type cable; 1505A regular RG-59/U Type). According to the company, these CMR-rated cables are pre-timed to ensure a delay difference of less than 5.0 ns/100 ft. between coax, allowing for cut-and-connect installation without the need for TDR or Vectorscope timing.
